There has been a zombie take over. These are slow moving zombies. I'm moving around in what looks like a video game. I'm in what looks like a hospital. I take a bat and try and hit a zombie that is sitting in the waiting room. I miss multiple times then abandon my bat and run away. My boyfriend and I are running in the children's ward checking to see if there are any children that need to be rescued. I find a baby and grab it. We go to the roof of the hospital and there are stairs leading up to a house. We climb the stairs and open the door. The house is warm and inviting. I has Jazz pictures everywhere and there's natural light. It is high enough up that zombies would have trouble accessing it. My boyfriend asks if I want to leave the baby here and continue fighting. I tell him no. That I want to stay where it is safe and take care of the baby. He says ok then leaves.
The dream you described may reflect your subconscious thoughts and emotions related to feeling overwhelmed or threatened in your waking life. The zombie takeover symbolizes a sense of chaos or loss of control. The slow-moving zombies represent an obstacle or challenge that may seem manageable at first.
The hospital setting could symbolize a need for healing or a desire to find safety and security. Your attempt to hit a zombie with a bat but missing multiple times could indicate feelings of frustration or inadequacy in dealing with the challenges you face. The decision to abandon the bat and run away might suggest a lack of confidence in your ability to overcome these difficulties.
The presence of your boyfriend in the dream may indicate a need for support or reliance on someone close to you. Running together in the children's ward suggests your desire to protect and nurture vulnerable aspects of yourself or those around you.
Finding a baby and deciding to stay in the safe house on the roof implies a desire for stability and protection. The warm and inviting house with Jazz pictures represents a comforting and enjoyable environment. The natural light and height of the house could symbolize optimism and a sense of being above the challenges or threats.
Your boyfriend's question about leaving the baby behind and continuing to fight may reflect a conflict within you. It could represent a decision between maintaining your own safety and caring for others, or a choice between self-preservation and facing challenges head-on. Your response of wanting to stay and take care of the baby suggests a nurturing and protective instinct within you.
Lastly, your boyfriend leaving after your decision may indicate a disconnect or differences in priorities between you and him. It could suggest that you may need to rely on your own inner strength and convictions to navigate the challenges you face.
Overall, this dream seems to symbolize your desire for safety, protection, and nurturing amidst challenging or chaotic circumstances. It may also reflect an internal struggle between self-preservation and caring for others.
